In 1842 William Marshall bought the defunct engineering works of William Garland and Son at Back Street Foundry in Gainsborough. In 1849 he renamed it the Britannia Ironworks and started manufacturing steam engines under the manufacturing name of Marshall. Here we see the original sketch I've made of a 1911 Model General Purpose Road Locomotive as it leaves a work area.
This A3 original artwork sketch is signed and supplied with a certificate of authenticity mounted ready to slip straight into your frame. The price includes UK P&P.
Note: The picture has a smart White 40 x 50 cm 'high quality plastic glass' mounted & framed option you may select which automatically updates the cost but which still includes UK post and packing using a special protective cardboard shipper. The frame option is pictured above but showing a Fowler T3 machine. Your picture will be the one you order here.
