Another Vickers-Armstrong Infantry Tank design. A very reliable, popular and prolific vehicle with over 8000 produced across 11 different marks with different variants being adapted onto the same hull. The tank was exported to the USSR to offset a delay in their own tank production.
Armed initially with a 40mm main armament it too suffered through a lack of firepower but the later Marks would see a 76mm gun fitted in an attempt to make it more effective. For its time it was fairly nimle on its tracks and proved a reliable workhorse.
