Here we have a First World War 'Tommy' in his trench writing a letter home while his exhausted chums get some sleep.His letter is expressing his gratitude at the arrival of the wonder weapon - The Tank! The weapon that would be destined to bring mobility back to the battlefield ending the stagnation of trench warfare. Also in the print is the First Capbadge of the fledgling Tank Corps along with a Mk IV 'Female' Tank armed with 4 Machine Guns with which to engage the enemy.
